Christmas Ornament

This is another ornament I tried to make pretty. I took gold paint and poured it inside, unfortunately the paint was kinda thick and didn't roll around like I wanted to so I took some beads and put them inside hoping they could help make a pretty design on the inside. NOPE! they stuck to the bottom of the thick paint so slowly I rolled the ornament and got the momentum the beads needed and rolled them around. Well they still didn't roll to make a wonderful design so I rolled and rolled until the whole bulb walls were covered. It took for ever to get the 5 little beads out of the bulb. Now I had a gold light bulb!! I decided not to give up and painted some glue on the bulb and then put glitter on it. The glitter was called crystal I think it turned out bluish/purple. Oh well here it is.

Easter 8x8 2 page layout

this is my first 2 page layout. I don't think it turned out half bad. I used many carts on this: Doodle charms - eggs; Pooh and Friends - tree; Platin School - grass; Animal Kingdom - bunny

Altered Christmas Ornament

ok so the challenge is to alter or make a Christmas ornament. thank goodness I had some bulbs. On this one I mod podged little fabric pieces and then Phil put the bow on. I can't tie a bow.

Tinker Bell ITT's

Unbelievably I cut these Tinker Bells with out incident! I have always had trouble cutting from the Tinker Bell cart. I drew the eyes in because they are always so difficult and look wrong.

Buttons card challenge

I loved this challenge. The star and present are also buttons. The tree is from the paper doll dress up cart. I used the snowflake cuttle bug folder then chalked over the embossing. I used frosted lace stickles on the tree and chalked the edges to give it that 'snowed on' look.

Snowman ATC

This is an ATC (action trading card) I haven't made very many of these and this by far is my favorite. 31/2 x 21/2 I started by picking out the snowman (from the doodle charms cart). I actually went to my 'extra' drawer and found him in there. I glued on his eyes and buttons. I found some blue paper and ran it through my cuttle bug using the snowflakes folder. I used a white sparkly chalk and went over it to give it a shimmer. I glued it to a white piece of card stock to give it a bit extra firmness. I tore and glued on white paper to make snow. By this time my eyes and buttons were dry so I glued on the snow man.

Create Joy 12 x12 layout

I used embossed paper, the ribbon is from the paper pups cart. The create joy is from the beyond birthdays cart, the tag is from the tags, bags, boxes, and more cart. I added a reindeer and a candy cane button.

My daughter helped pick out the colors and told me where to put the ribbon etc... this really is her layout since she told me what to do...I just couldn't get her to do it.
